Tseard Zoethout
is an environmental journalist specialised in renewable energy, organic
agriculture, green buildings and green marketing since 2000. He has
written articles, reviews and columns in a variety of magazine, periodicals
and newspapers. Dutch national dailies are using his publications in
the outstanding Nieuwsblad Stromen (for professionals in renewable energy,
materials and environment) and Gezond Bouwen & Wonen (green buildings)
as a valuable source of background information. Some of his stories
for and articles on the website of P+ gained national attention. As
a senior writer of this magazine he collaborated with Jan van der Woning
on a variety of subjects.
The author doesn't limit himself to the Netherlands. Once and a while
he's writing for environmental magazines in the UK and US. Some of those
pieces (f.i. in Resurgence and Renewable Energy World) are quoted in
books and British, Russian and Brazilian sources and websites. He is
praised for his integrity and balanced view on economic and environmental
development.
After expedition
'the big thaw' he will extent and alter these features into a (coffee
table) book. International publishers are invited to start negotiations
from the 1st of December 2006.
Tseard's home is a small rural village in Friesland, in the northern
part of the Netherlands. He loves to eat local and/or organic produce,
taking the bike for shopping and using the car sparsely.
