Expedition 'Big Thaw' is also a unique opportunity for companies and/or environmental organizations to promote their commitment to sustainability. Action has to be taken now before the human impact on the sensitive eco-system of the polar region has gone beyond control.
Since climate change is mainly caused by energy needs, the expedition invites several stakeholders to financially participate in it. They can highlight renewable energy, more efficient use of resources, transport and telecommunications as ways to offer viable solutions.
